Electro couter

This electrical surgical tool is used to cut and prevent bleeding in the operating room, so that it can be used in bleeding to produce a clot, cutting, splitting and destroying the tissues by burning method.

This is done by applying electrical sparks between the probe and the tissue that causes the heat to concentrated in the target area to destroy the tissue.

Advantages of using an electric cutting knife over a mechanical cutting knife,is that,it is possible to coagulate with cutting and prevent the spread of diseased cells to surrounding tissues, which is a great advantage.

This device was initially used only for coagulation of the tissue to prevent bleeding, but it currently used to cut tissue or cut and coagulate at the same time.

In the electrical cut, the current doesnt pass through the patients body, but the probe tip is heated by passing an electric current from a high resistance wire. Then the heat transferred from the tip of the probe to the tissue causes it cut or coagulated, which depends on the type of probe used.

It most widely used in control and prevent bleeding during eye, facial, plastic and repair surgery.

Preventing bleeding during surgery, in addition to being essential to the patient, allows the surgeon to easily observe the structures of the tissue under operation.

Special electrocorrents used in skin and women's surgeries.

When the heat is applied to the tissue through a heat probe to cut or coagulate, several changes may occur, including the following:

1. Splitting the cells and releasing the contents inside them.
2. Vaporation of
water inside the tissue that leads to tissue accumulation.
3. The protein of the blood and tissue cells is transformed into a clot.
